The Paper Plane cocktail was supposedly so named because its creator, New York bartender Sam Ross, was listening to rapper M.I.A.ís song by the same name when he came up with it. Regardless, this modern variation of a Last Word is easy to mix and drink. In an ice-filled shaker, combine equal parts bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino and lemon juice. Shake vigorously, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and enjoy. All youíll wanna do is drink this cocktail. - Ted and Jamie Kilgore, USBG, B.A.R. I used to think all Romanian wines were simple and cheap. So when I tried Paparuda Estate Selection Pinot Grigio 2015, I wasnít expecting a solidly made, medium-weight dry white with impressive flavor and finish. When I realized it cost less than $10, my baditude was seriously humbled. Note to self: (almost) never judge a wine by the label. $8.50. Global Foods, 421 N. Charleville Brewing Co.ís Long White Cloud is a new addition to the lager trend. Beautifully balanced and nicely carbonated, the clean, New Zealand-style Pilsner is blissful with bright aromatic notes of bread, citrus, tropical fruit and grass that play nicely with just a touch of grain and black pepper to round out the palate. $11. Charleville Brewing Co. & Tavern, 2101 Chouteau Ave., St. Louis, 314.241.4677, charlevillebeer.com - Katie Herrera, Co-founder of Femme Ferment and manager at The Side Project Cellar
