There’s something for everyone at the 14th annual Downtown Restaurant Week, an event that promotes downtown eateries while raising funds for a good cause.

Downtown Restaurant Week, which takes place from Aug. 20 to 26, features 15 establishments serving three-course dinners, either for $25 or $35, including Mango, Drunken Fish, Gio’s, Carmine’s Steakhouse, Hiro Asian Kitchen and 360. Guests can make reservations via OpenTable or by phone.

“Our mission with this event is to get people to not only go downtown, but maybe go somewhere they may not even know exists,” said Jordan Eichenauer, event coordinator at Synergy Productions, the organization running Downtown Restaurant Week. “People go downtown to remember the appeal of St. Louis’ downtown.”

When you get the check, add a donation to Operation Food Search, a St. Louis-based nonprofit that provides those in need with health education and food. Last year, more than $2,000 was donated to the organization via more than 8,000 diners.

“This goal of this event was originally just to get people downtown, but we partnered with Operation Food Search because it seemed like a great fit,” she said. “You just ate at incredible restaurant, so consider donating to someone hungry and in need in the St. Louis area.”
