Animal lovers, clear your calendars Saturday, Aug. 25 for the 13th Annual Art of PAWS

Enjoy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails while checking out the spectacle of a cocktail challenge from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Grand Ballroom at Gallery 1014.

“Of everything, everyone’s favorite part of the night is the cocktail challenge,” said James Lesch, special events coordinator for Saint Louis Effort for AIDS. “Four of our bartenders create a signature cocktail, and people tip their favorite. People love it, and like everything else, it all goes to PAWS.”

Proceeds benefit the PAWS (Pets Are Wonderful Support) program, which provides financial support to pet owners who are clients of the Saint Louis Effort for AIDS.

Bid on gift baskets, tickets and unique artwork created exclusively for the event from more than 50 local artists as you enjoy live music, DJs and live auctioneers Charlie Houska and Julie Malone.

“Something we really try to lean into is making it a big party,” Lesch said. “It’s not a sit-down, buy-a-table kind of thing. It’s much more relaxed than that.”

Tickets are $50 and available online. Attendees must be 21 or older.
