Reign Restaurant will open in downtown St. Louis in February

In mid-February, Reign Restaurant will open at 1122 Washington Ave., in the former Copia Restaurant and Wine Garden space. The concept is spearheaded by Dana Kelly, an owner and financial specialist at The Firm and the executive director for the St. Louis Women’s March. This will be Kelly’s first foray into the restaurant industry.

“I’ve always wanted a bar and restaurant,” Kelly said. “The space became available and I didn’t want to pass on it. It’s exciting to have a space that beautiful.”

Kelly is working with various chefs to develop a menu, though Reign has yet to name an executive chef. A soft opening dinner on January 25 will offer food from three different chefs. Kelly said she is using the event to help decide which direction to take the menu.

Potential dishes include Maryland-style crab cakes, lobster tails and lamb chops, as well as vegetarian and vegan options, Kelly said. She did not offer a comment on the bar program.

Reign Restaurant aims to be open for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, and Kelly said they plan to offer a brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
