10 St. Louis patios to enjoy some socially distanced summer fun

It’s been a tough year for everyone, and we know you just want to go out and enjoy a great meal and some drinks with your friends. So do we.

Since outdoors is one of the safest places to be during this pandemic, dining al fresco is hotter than ever. From expansive decks and giant tents to sidewalk seating and literally eating on streets closed to traffic, there are a multitude of great options to get out and have a good time while keeping your distance.

In Clayton, patios have expanded onto the streets. In the Central West End, portions of Euclid Avenue are shut down from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights to make way for “streateries.” And all around town, establishments are breaking the mold to offer more safe dining space.

Check out the slideshow below for some establishments getting creative to expand their outdoor footprint.
