Jilly’s Cupcake Bar to compete in The Food Network’s Cupcake Wars
June 21st 01:06pm, 2011
We’ll be tuning into The Food Network next Tuesday night. That’s when we’ll find out whether St. Louis’ own Jilly’s Cupcake Bar and Cafe can best three other cupcake bakeries from across the country on the third season of the network’s show Cupcake Wars.
The episode, Cupcakes: The Final Frontier, is the third of the season and will feature four teams competing for the grand prize of $10,000. Representing Jilly’s Cupcakes, owned by Jill Segal, will be Dana Holland, executive chef at Jilly’s; and Casey Shiller, Jilly’s director of pastry and baking. Shiller is also the executive chef and coordinator of baking and pastry arts for St. Louis Community College – Forest Park. The one-hour program will air on Tuesday, June 28, at 7 p.m.
