The Scoop: A surprising sports bar

July 17th 02:07pm, 2009

With its 37 TVs, Over/Under Bar & Grill, downtown’s newest sports bar, proved a great place to watch the All-Star game earlier this week. Though, with its sleek décor and menu featuring tempura shrimp and vegetables, mushroom risotto, and pan-fried trout, it’s the swankiest sports bar we’ve ever seen. Stop in to 911 Washington Ave. to check it out yourself.

This is EXACTLY what Wash Ave has needed for a long time.. an ACTUAL sports bar!! I’ve eaten here a couple times with friends, and yes the service needs a little work, but the food is pretty great and the decor . And I have no doubt that once O/U works through the kinks, this place will be amazing! Love the patio and the screen outside as well!

Bland food, which could be forgiven, but the service was horrific. Our server asked us to pay her before we had even finished eating so that she could pick up her kids. I will never go back there. As well music was way to loud on the outdoor patio
