With friendly staff, good atmosphere and a tres leche cake that's to die for La Tropicana seems to bring a lot to the table. However, is mediocre mexican/cuban for four with desserts worth $100+? Be sure to bring plenty of cash to cover your meal because despite the information on this site they don't accept Visa, MC or Discover. You don't want to end up washing dishes to cover your overpriced pre-made empanadas. Again, that tres leche...
