Inconsistent service had always marred the excellent fare here. Returning after nine months we found the service improved (Jeff the waiter called us "you two" only four times.) but the food a disappointment, which for Niche is a terrible thing. Pork belly, pigs feet and cauliflower were blackened. Greens were tough. Everything was overly salted to the extent our mouths burned. The room was full of smoke, so in addition to burning mouths we had burning eyes. Sad to say, we won't return. Alas.

Apps, Pistachio Ravioli outstanding, Pork Pappardelle very good, carrot soup and beef tartar good. Entree, Scallops were perfectly prepared, Ribeye was good. Dessert, Liquid Chocolate cake, very good, Espresso Semifreddo good
Overall, a pleasant experience – we enjoyed our meal.
