Tanya Solomon: Truth Assassin Magic Show
Tanya Solomon, one of stage magic's few female professionals, is making St. Louis one of the stops on the first national tour of her solo show "Tanya Solomon: Truth Assassin".
The show, which premiered at New York City's Voorhees Theater in 2016, is a one-woman show emphasizing magic as entertainment for intelligent adults. This hour of startling effects includes baffling sleight-of-hand, costumes changed in a flash, blindfold targeting with a knife, and live fish appearing from nowhere. Solomon creates comedy out of the interaction between the magician as self-proclaimed liar and the rational expectations of the audience. Logic and laws of nature guaranteed violated!
