Dr. Deborah Phelps will discuss her experiences as a caregiver to her husband through his terminal illness, and into widowhood. She poured her experiences into a book, “Frank’s Arms.” Her story describes seven years of caregiving that is interlaced with compassion, honor, dignity and dedication. This thought-provoking memoir is filled with personal insights on advocacy and self-discovery.
