Budweiser Best of St. Louis

Local chefs and artisan food producers will unite at Budweiser Best of St. Louis, the flagship affair for the American Culinary Federation’s Central Regional Conference. Experience the best of the local food scene as you sample fare by St. Louis’ top chefs, specialty shops and purveyors, and sip your way through the extensive portfolio of Anheuser-Busch, Stella Artois, and Goose Island beers. Cooking demonstrations featuring Budweiser Taste of St. Louis Battle Royale winners will also take place. All proceeds benefit St. Louis-based nonprofit PGA Reach; tickets available online.

Hunger for More 2014
Dine out to support Isaiah 58 Ministries in its effort to fight local hunger and poverty. Each week, participating restaurants will donate a percentage of one day’s sales to the nonprofit, which serves more than 600 St. Louis-area families a month. The event kicks off with a portion of local bars' beverage sales benefiting the cause. Monday: Mangia Italiano Tuesday: Joe's Crab Shack in St. Peters (must mention Hunger for More) Wednesday: MoKaBe's Coffeehouse and King & I Thai Restaurant Thursday: Cafe Natasha’s and SweetArt Friday: Benton Park Cafe Mama Josephine’s is also donating 10 percent from sales of its popular chicken and dumplings Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during Lent. Hunger for More is an initiative to raise awareness and engage the community around the issues of hunger and poverty right in their own neighborhoods. Proceeds will help benefit more than 600 families in the St. Louis area.
