This restaurant has been a readers' choice winner five times in a row, and I was eager to try it. The large dining room a the back was full, and the noice level was so high that the waiter had to shout to be heard over the din. The phesant consisted of half of one phesant breast along with something described as a crepe, but which was really a pancake. The Rabbit rossole was not a rissole, it was a saussage. The size of the check for this disappointing meal only made things worse.

We were very disappointed at our most recent meal at Sidney Street which used to be my favorite restaurant. They seem to be so focused on being innovative they forgot about serving good food. Enough of foams and eggs atop meat. We asked the server to describe the lamb dish and after a lengthy very pretentious description having something to do with turning the meat in on itself?? we were surprised when what arrived appeared to be a dab of lamb stew meat, underdone with an egg on top.
