Founded
by Brendan Marsden and Julie Block, Modesto is an original
restaurant concept. Together with chef Grace Dinsmoor, they
have composed a menu that offers both traditional Spanish
dishes, such as Paella Valenciana, as well as updated versions
of popular Spanish dishes, such as Gambas al Modesto and the
Filete de Solomillo, a steak that Post-Dispatch food critic,
Patricia Corrigan, calls one of the best in town.
