2 cups dried apricots or prunes, coarsely chopped
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
Pinch ground cinnamon
• Place the chopped fruit in a pot with ¾ cup of water and cook, uncovered, over medium heat for 10 minutes. If necessary, add more water, a tablespoon at a time, so that the fruit does not scorch.
• Add the flour, sugar and cinnamon. Stir to combine, then mash well.
• Let cool before using to allow the mixture to thicken.
