Mosaic was buzzing Saturday night as i arrived around 9:30 to find my favorite St. Louis bartender working. Unfortunately, we were not able to procur a seat at the small bar but were recognized and treated warmly. The food, service and atmosphere of Mosaic was amazing, as usual.

Time after time, ahi would have been more moist had it come off the shelf and drained from a can. Very generic approach to avant garde, really commercial feel, def not a dining establishment. But if you want bar-fare and dont mind waiting forever for your feed, its a nice place to hang and watch the game. New floorplan not as cool as the orig, but good for d'town. 3.5/10

I love love love this restaurant, I try to make it here atleast once every other week. I usually sit in the bar because I am a smoker and have to admit sometimes the service is a little slow (because the bar is always sooo busy)....however, it is worth the extra minutes! Atmosphere and food are amazing. I think I'm addicted to their gnocchi... not to mention they have enjoyable happy hour specials :)

My experience at Mosaic was decent. The food was different and was like an experience. I had the 3 course meal option and found that although this tapas style meal was different and flavorful, some of my choices were just so-so. The butternut squash soup was wonderful!!!!! By far the only memorable part of my meal. The ambiance was good and the service was satisfactory.

Disappointing. We went around 10 on a Friday night and service started off very slow although it improved as the night went on. I was under the impression that this is an authentic Spanish tapas restaurant - it's not. The tapas concept is poorly executed. They didn't bring out any complimentary bread - we had to request it. Some dishes focus much more on artistic presentation than taste.
