So pleasantly surprised on this one. I had expected an average experience at best, but we had a great night. Morel pasta was great - authentic salamis, tasty cheeses, great wine. Overall a really nice place to go. We'll be back.

Recently had a wonderful experience here. Chef Andy went out of his way to prepare a morel mushroom dish and it was just fabulous. Great food and great people!

Had a lovely evening last night at the restaurant. Sam took excellent care of us! We chose to do the 4 courses for $25- what a great deal. The ravioli, bruschettas, salmon, scallops and semifreddo were outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by everything and would definitely recommend Acero.

We love Acero. The atmosphere is warm and hip--inviting and fun. The service could not be better--the staff was extraordinarily attentive and knowledgeable. And, the food is delicious. The portions are smaller than most restaurants, but are perfectly appropriate (and in fact more reflective of what a portion should be). Adam, the chef, is great--very accommodating, creative, and knowledgeable. What a great addition to the Maplewood community!

The server was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. It started out great - a nice meat and cheese selection and a delicious - though definitely not Italian - bruschetta. The pasta should be the best part of an "authentic" Italian joint - and this was quite frankly, terrible. Three different pastas were tried and only one was edible.
