The Scoop: Gia’s Pizza to open second location
South County folks can plan to abandon any dietary New Year’s resolutions now, as Gia’s Pizza is set to open its second location at the beginning of January at 5441 Telegraph Road.
“South County is close enough that we can still run both restaurants well,” said Scott Kaiser, who oversees operations at the original O’Fallon, Illinois location. “We liked the layout of this location, and the community surrounding it really fit the profile of Gia’s customers”.
The new Oakville location will seat 45 and serve the same menu of specialty and seasonal pizzas, sandwiches, salads and appetizers as the O’Fallon location, as well as a selection of wine and bottle and draft beer. Delivery and carryout options will be available as well.
When doors opens, Gia’s will serve up pies daily beginning at 11 a.m. and until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
