First Look: Living Room South Hampton on Chippewa Street

The new Living Room South Hampton will open tomorrow, Saturday, July 7, at 5760 Chippewa St.

Co-owner Nate Larson said the cafe's second location will “elevate the coffee game.” There will also be a small food menu, including scones, biscuits and cookies prepared at the original Maplewood location. The space, which formerly housed a service station, features windows that open like overhead garage doors and seating for approximately 45.

The shop shares the building with the new Craft Beer Cellar South Hampton, which will offer draft beer as well as retail sales. The Living Room side of the space will be open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Once Living Room shuts down, the coffee bar will transition into a beer bar with 15 taps. Craft Beer Cellar co-owner Brandon Nickelson said that permanent hours for the new Craft Beer Cellar location are still a work in progress, but he expects to initially be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday noon to 6 p.m.
