Grove East Provisions closes doors in Tower Grove East

Grove East Provisions
at 3101 Arsenal St. has shuttered for good. The announcement was made yesterday, Sunday, Oct. 21, in an ultra-brief Facebook post:

“After four fantastic years, Grove East Provisions is closing its doors. Many thanks to everyone for your support and patronage over the years.”

The Tower Grove East shop, which opened in 2014, billed itself as ”a European-style bodega with South City charm” and offered a lunch menu of soups, sandwiches and salads, along with brunch and wood-fired pizza on weekends. The store also housed a bakery and retail space.

Owner Barry Kinder did not immediately return requests for comment.
