The Mad Crab will open a second location in Bridgeton in July

Seafood restaurant The Mad Crab will open a second location at 12490 St. Charles Rock Road in Bridgeton. General manager Chris Valera said he anticipates a July opening. The space most recently housed 180 Grill and Bar.

The original Mad Crab, which can be found at 8080 Olive Blvd., in University City, has been open for two years.

Valera said the new location’s menu will mostly be the same, but it may receive some seasonal updates. The Mad Crab features fresh seafood boils – king crab legs, whole lobster, shrimp, crawfish and more – at market prices and serves them with various sides, flavors and levels of spiciness. The menu also includes starters like oysters and chicken wings, baskets options and Cajun fried rice dishes.

Valera has yet to finalize a head chef or a seating count for the new location.
