Frankly Sausages will rebrand as Honest to Goodness

Starting Monday, Dec. 2, Frankly Sausages will undergo yet another metamorphosis. The brand, which was purchased from Bill and Jamie Cawthon earlier this year by Chloe Yates and Ben McArthur, will become Honest to Goodness, a food truck, website and catering operation.

“Before we bought the truck, our biggest concern was making sure we could fit into the brand we were looking to build,” Yates said. “We wanted to diversify a bit, outside of just the sausage idea. That’s how Honest to Goodness came about.”

Luckily for fans, a number of Frankly’s most beloved dishes will remain on the Honest to Goodness menu: the hand-cut fries, the double patty smash burger, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and at least one of the sausages. The new menu will include dishes like a fried tomato BLT with pork belly, a catfish po’boy, house-pickled and fried okra stuffed with pimento cheese, brined and smoked wings tossed in hot bacon honey and a house-fried bologna sandwich.

In addition to the food truck – which will be updated and rebranded for next season – food will be available by website for delivery. Honest to Goodness aims to use its own delivery service, along with Uber Eats, and is also in talks to add Postmates in the future. Also on the website, the concept will sell a number of baked goods, including a brown butter-chocolate chip cookie and savory shortbreads. Holiday cookie boxes will be produced in collaboration with Pam Hardester of Butter & Cream Bakeshop.

“The goal is, whether you’re looking for catering or you want to book the truck, if you want baked goods, everything is in one place,” Yates said of the new online system. “It’s an evolution.”
