4 St. Louis fish fries to kick off Lent

With Lent beginning today, Wednesday, Feb. 17, St. Louis fish fries are making their yearly comeback. Starting this week until Lent’s end, plenty of local restaurants are featuring Friday fish fries. To help you out in scouting your many options, each week until Lent is over, we will share a few spots each week to help you get your fix. (These dishes may sell out, so get there early to ensure you don’t miss out.)

Essentially Fries Food Truck will be parked in front of Edibles and Essentials every Friday. Gioia’s Deli is starting up Fish Fry Fridays again at both locations. Choose between a classic fried cod sandwich for $11 or a king cod sandwich for $12. The king cod is topped with mac and cheese and Red Hot Riplets.
