Eckert’s Farm hosts Hard-Pressed Cider Fest on Saturday
The third annual event takes place at Cider Shed at the Belleville location
The third annual Hard-Pressed Cider Fest takes over the Cider Shed at Eckert’s Farm at 951 S. Green Mount in Belleville from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.
The ticketed event is for guests 21 and older and will offer more than 40 hard ciders, craft beers and craft cocktails featuring local and regional makers. There will also be artisan vendors selling their handcrafted goods throughout the event. Food trucks will be available during the event, including Bravo Tacos, Seoul Mama and Bipps BBQ. You’ll also be able to purchase food and drink from the Cider Shed’s regular menu.
George Portz and the Friends of Bluegrass will be performing live music during the event, but guests are encouraged to stick around after the Cider Fest to enjoy live music by Jackie Tyler from 6 to 9 p.m. As an added bonus, you will have the chance to drench an officer of the St. Clair County Police Department at a dunk tank with all proceeds benefiting BackStoppers.
General admission tickets include nine 3-ounce pours and a commemorative tasting cup. VIP tickets include early entry at 11 a.m., 13 3-ounce pours, along with a snack pack of cheese, sausage, grapes and salty snack mix. Tickets are available online at a discounted rate or at the door.
