Juniper's Kentucky Derby-Themed Party for the 145th Run of the Roses
Juniper is gearing up for the most exciting two minutes in sports with off-menu brunch offerings, floppy hats and a whole lot of juleps! This Derby Day, join Juniper at the bar from 3 – 6 p.m. and enjoy executive chef Glenister Wells’ Kentucky-inspired dishes, including deviled eggs, cucumber sandwiches, and, of course, hot browns! No Derby party is complete without springtime sippers, for which bartender Brendan Sante will be serving up aplenty! Imbibers looking for a fresh twist on the classic Mint Julep may wet their whistle with the Kentucky Bramble (Maker's Mark, mint, lemon and smashed blackberry), or opt for a refreshing Bourbon Sweet Tea! Furthermore, Four Roses’ Dan Gardner will host a complimentary tasting table, where diners can sample the top-notch single barrel bourbon and purchase Juniper’s Four Roses Single Barrel for $50, including a $10 gift certificate to the restaurant. Alongside Southern fare and playful cocktails, Juniper will host a contest for top-notch Derby garb that isn’t for the faint of heart! Guests are invited to don their Sunday best for the chance to win a special reward for “best dressed” and “best hat.” Finally, “horse bets” will take place in honor of the much-anticipated race, so get ready to shout silly horse names and win some swag! Break out the Derby hats and get your gingham ready, you’ll be off to the races with Juniper’s Kentucky Derby watch party.
Juniper’s Kentucky-themed menu will be available at the bar only and in lieu of the restaurant’s regular happy hour menu. This event is free of charge and no tickets are necessary. Juniper will continue business as usual on Saturday, with brunch service from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. and regular dinner service from 5 p.m. - 12 a.m.
