Friends of the Rainforest's Sixth Annual Trivia Night

November 02, midnight

Miriam School at 501 Bacon Ave. in Webster Groves 3149411257

Friends of the Rainforest will hold its sixth annual trivia night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and trivia begins at 6:30 p.m. for the fundraiser, which includes a silent auction, raffles and best rainforest-themed costume. Proceeds will benefit the non-profit agency, which educates and inspires children and adults to protect, support and expand the rainforest.

Founded in 2002, Friends of the Rainforest is the only non-profit organization in the U.S. to combine free worldwide education outreach along with rainforest conservation grants and experiential hands-on ecotours. The agency partners primarily with Children’s Eternal Rainforest—Costa Rica’s largest private forest reserve that encompasses more than 56,000 acres—in an effort to protect the land along with all of its plant and animal inhabitants. Friends of the Rainforest is headquartered in St. Louis, Mo. at 930 Kehrs Mill Rd.

Tickets are $25 per person or $200 for a table of eight. For more information or to purchase tickets, call (314) 941-1257 or visit http://www.friendsoftherainforest.org.
