Are You 23-39? Interested in Professional Development and Networking While Helping the Red Cross?

As an extension of the Greater St. Louis chapter’s efforts, the purpose of the Red Cross Young Professionals of Greater St. Louis is: “To further the mission of the American Red Cross by raising critical funds, volunteering their time and talent, and fostering a culture of giving within the community – all while building network connections and gaining unique professional development experiences.”

Young Professionals (YP) is actively seeking engaged and passionate young professionals aged 23-39 years old in the St. Louis area to join us in membership.

Ideal potential members demonstrate an aptitude for community leadership and the key values of the American Red Cross: compassion, collaboration, creativity, credibility, and commitment. General members pledge to do the following:

➢ Attend two Young Professionals meetings a year.

➢ Make a meaningful financial gift to the Red Cross and contribute to the collective fundraising goal of the YP.

➢ Complete a Volunteer Connection profile online and record at least 16 volunteer hours.

➢ Assist in planning the YP’s networking and fundraising event(s).

➢ Represent the American Red Cross in the community and offer insight to the Red Cross to help the organization further its mission.

YP membership offers the unique ability to give back to your community, build a network of like-minded servant leaders, and serve as an official representative of and advocate for the Red Cross mission. There are also professional development benefits including leadership events with the Red Cross Regional Executive and the local Board.
