10th ANNUAL TASTE IN FERGUSON RETURNS ON SEPTEMBER 11
Event raises scholarship money for Ferguson youth and supports participating restaurants
Taste of Ferguson takes place at The Savoy Banquet Center in Ferguson, Missouri
FERGUSON, MO (September 1, 2022) - We are pleased to announce that THE TASTE IN FERGUSON is celebrating its
TENTH year on September 11, 2022, and returns as an outdoor, in-person event at the Savoy Banquet Center in Ferguson, Missouri (119 S. Florissant Road). Tickets are available online through Facebook, Instagram, and the website, www.thetasteinferguson.com or in person at the Ferguson Farmer’s Market September 3 and 10 or at Robinwood Automotive, Paul’s Market, Amore Pizza, and Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Office.
This year’s event has been extended an additional hour, running from 3-7 p.m. Guests can enjoy food from a variety of participating restaurants, an adult beverage area sampling beer, wine and spirits, a children’s area with hands on activities. Food tasting is from 3-5:30 p.m. and the awesome sounds of the band Rocking Chair can be enjoyed from 4-5:15 and 5:45 to 7pm.
We are excited to announce that KSDK meteorologist Anthony Slaughter is the Celebrity Master of Ceremonies. Fredbird from the St. Louis Cardinals and Louie with the St. Louis Blues are also making appearances.
Taste of Ferguson is marking the anniversary of 9-11 with a tribute to those heroes during the opening ceremonies. The anniversary is also marked by partnering with Mann Meats and Helfer’s Pastry and Deli to provide free meals to all first responders that stop by from 3:15-5:30 p.m.
The lineup of this year's restaurant participants include Amore’s Pizza, Mann Meats, Paul’s Market, Red’s Barbeque, Just
Chicken, Old Town Donuts, Helfer’s Pastries and Deli, Sam’s Club, Savoy Banquet Center, B Juiced, Catering to You, Drake’s Place, King of Soul, Adam’s Smokehouse, Starbucks, CJF Signature Seasoning, Made by Lia, Wedding Wonderland, That’s So Good, Carlynn’s Creations and Sugary Bliss.
Taste of Ferguson stands committed to supporting our restaurants and our mission of creating scholarships for youth in honor and memory of Samantha Lipka and Robbie McGartland. In its 10-year history and its broader work in Ferguson and all the surrounding area, Taste of Ferguson has donated more than $300,000 of assistance to youth in our community.

All proceeds go into scholarships for North County youth through Angels at Work, a 501C3 in memory of Samantha Lipka and Robbie McGartland.
