St. Louis Chamber Chorus Concert -"Love"
Join the St. Louis Chamber Chorus to celebrate that most human of emotions, “love", through the Romanzen und Balladen (op. 146) by Robert Schumann, love songs from Rebecca Clarke and her teacher, C.V. Stanford, and folksongs arranged by Bela Bartok. The Chorus will reprise earlier SLCC commissions, and give the world premiere of Love After Chagall by the ‘dean’ of Irish composers Seóirse Bodley. The performance is the Chorus’ first at Ladue Chapel since its major renovation. It promises to be an affecting, but not sentimental, examination of love both tragic and triumphant. Ample parking available adjacent to the building
