Kakao Chocolate is packing up its luxurious truffles, barks and bars and moving into its very own store in Fox Park. The chocolatier, currently run from a commercial kitchen on Cherokee Street, will add retail space in its new larger digs at 2301 S. Jefferson Ave. A grand opening is set for May 30, but Kakao will host its first store event, a tea and truffle tasting, on May 10. Look for tea-flavored truffles, including mint tea with candied lemon peel and rose petal red tea. Check out owner Brian Pelletier’s blog for more details.
