The original 1960s formula of Schlitz has returned to St. Louis. A handful of events are on tap tomorrow to celebrate “the beer that made Milwaukee famous.” Look for cold beer, muscle cars (including the ’65 Schlitz El Camino), music and the Schlitz Gusto Girls. There will be recruiting for Gusto Guys, too; that alone sounds like it’s worth checking out. Here’s the launch party plan:
• 4 p.m.: Llywelyn’s Pub, 1732 S. 9th St. in Soulard
• 5:30 p.m.: The Stable, 1821 Cherokee St. in Benton Park
• 7 p.m.: Tin Can Tavern & Grille, 1909 Locust Ave. downtown
