This week, Foundation Grounds released a homemade blend of 100 percent organic coffee created by St. Louis roasting company Goshen Coffee. “Foundation Grounds has never had its own house blend,” commented Goshen Coffee owner Matt Herren, who described the new blend as medium-bodied with medium acidity. Foundation Grounds’ House Blend is available at the Maplewood café. In addition, the one-pound bags are sold at Straub’s, Local Harvest Grocery, Sappington Farmers’ Market and in Edwardsville at 222 Artisan Bakery and Green Earth Grocery.
