There’s no better time to grab your favorite people and check out some of the summer dinner series popping up all over town. From farm-to-table experiences to upscale paired dinners, there’s a wide range of unique culinary events sure to please every palate. While not every event follows the farm-to-table model, each one highlights fresh, seasonal ingredients at their peak.

Urban Harvest STL: Harvest Dinner featuring chef David Kirkland Urban Harvest STL’s mission is to build community around inclusive and resilient local food systems by offering apprenticeships that focus on urban farming and food justice, farmers in training programs, education programs for children, as well as programs to address food insecurity. Their Harvest dinner aims to celebrate local food systems and connect people with nature. The Friday, July 18, dinner will feature Turn’s chef David Kirkland, whose restaurant is focused on healthy, American comfort foods. The night begins with a 6 p.m. cocktail hour featuring a signature cocktail or wine on Sally’s Rooftop Garden and Terrace, followed by a multi-course dinner prepared by Kirkland using produce from Urban Harvest STL’s farms. Homie Hospitality Hog Roasts Farm-to-table dinners have become a hallmark of Homie Hospitality, a collaboration between Such and Such Farm and Farm Spirit. Their seasonal dinner series comes alive each summer, inviting guests to De Soto for a multi-course dining experience featuring fresh ingredients straight from the farm. Don’t miss their Homie Hog Roasts this summer on July 20 and Aug. 3. Guests are welcome to arrive between noon and 3 p.m., with festivities wrapping up around 6 p.m. Expect an afternoon of a whole hog roast experience, seasonal side dishes, lawn games, and a refreshing dip in their private swimming hole. Around the World Wine Dinners at Missouri Botanical Garden Spend an unforgettable evening surrounded by more than 51,000 plants at the Missouri Botanical Garden during a unique dining experience that blends global cuisine with natural beauty. On select nights – July 18 (Washington), August 15 (Portugal), September 17 (Oregon), and October 15 (Germany) – guests are invited to explore the flavors of the world through a curated four-course meal, each course paired with complementary wines selected by an expert sommelier. The Future Is Female Celebration Dinner If you haven’t yet experienced the chic 21c Museum Hotel in downtown St. Louis, the upcoming debut of their newest exhibition, The Future Is Female, offers the perfect reason to visit. Known for its striking contemporary art and sleek modern décor, the hotel will host a public opening and celebratory dinner on July 15. The exhibition highlights work by over 50 feminist artists from around the globe, exploring themes like identity, consumerism, ecology, and the ongoing fight for equality and inclusion. Festivities begin with a public reception from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., including an artist talk by Tiffany Shlain, introduced by Chief Curator and 21c Museum Director Alice Gray Stites from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. At 8:00 p.m., guests will enjoy a ticketed, four-course dinner inspired by the exhibition. Silk Road Dinner Series Madrina, the Italian American restaurant in Webster Groves, is continuing its three-part Silk Road Dinner Series this summer, celebrating the rich cultural and culinary diversity of the St. Louis region. With one successful dinner already completed, two special evenings remain in the series for you to enjoy. Created by executive chef Tim Adams, the series is inspired by the Silk Road trade route and will spotlight the flavors and techniques of various cultures, brought to life through collaborations with some of the city’s top chefs. On July 18, Madrina will welcome Chef Nick Bognar, 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist and executive chef of Indo and Sado. This dinner will blend Southeast Asian and Italian American flavors in a bold, fresh way. On Aug. 29, chef Loryn Nalic of Balkan Treat Box, a 2025 James Beard Award finalist, will take the stage. Nalic’s dinner will fuse Balkan flavors with classic Italian techniques for a one-of-a-kind experience. Each dinner begins at 6 p.m., with tickets priced at $125 per person plus tax. St. Charles County Farm Bureau – Farm to Table Dinner Supporting local farms and the people who work the land is the heart of the St. Charles County Farm Bureau. This membership-based organization is dedicated to amplifying the voices of Missouri farmers, and their farm-to-table dinner is the perfect opportunity to celebrate local agriculture. Join them on Saturday, July 19, at 6 p.m. for an evening dinner crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and thoughtfully paired wines and spirits from neighboring wineries and distilleries. All proceeds will benefit the St. Charles County Farm Bureau Scholarships, the Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation and the St. Charles Farmers Market. The night will conclude with a silent auction and closing remarks from Missouri Farm Bureau President Garrett Hawkins, a perfect way to end an evening dedicated to fellowship, food and farming.
