12210_froyoFrosty weather hasn’t stopped the frozen yogurt devotees who line up at Froyo in The Loop from pulling the lever on 16 different flavors and piling on their favorite toppings. In fact, business has been so brisk that owner Jason Jan is adding a slew of new stores in the metro area to the Froyo name.

The first of four Froyos slated to open in the coming months will be located at 17408 Chesterfield Airport Road in Chesterfield. Doors at that location will open sometime next week. In late February or early March, the frozen yogurt will be available at 14169 Manchester Road in Manchester, as well as in The Village at Schneithorst’s at the intersection of Clayton Road and South Lindbergh Boulevard. Come March, patrons will also be able to concoct their soft-serve creations in South County at a Froyo space in Concord Plaza.

Jan, an independent operator who resides here in town, is pleased that his indie brand has become a favorite among many St. Louisans and mentioned to The Scoop that he is also looking at spaces in Edwardsville and Evanston, Ill.

Frozen treat fans who come to the Chesterfield or Delmar locations this month will get a taste of new flavors like German chocolate cake or white chocolate mousse. Seasonal flavors like peppermint stick, eggnog, snickerdoodle and pumpkin pie are sure to please those with a taste for the holidays. Also coming: house-made waffle bowls. Just imagine how many ounces of nonfat yogurt you can cram into that edible container.
