Fort Taco is set to open three additional locations: one in the Chesterfield Mall food court by Nov. 23, another at 8471 N. Lindbergh Blvd., in Florissant by the end of the year, and another yet-to-be-determined location in St. Charles in December.
Co-owner Elizabeth Sedlock said multiple locations have been a part of the Fort Taco business plans since opening the restaurant at 8106 Manchester Road in Brentwood in December 2014. “Our business model is very simple, and our menu is simple. We make three things, we do them really well, and we do them fresh daily. We knew this was something we could duplicate,” Sedlock said.
In addition to three new locations, Sedlock and her partners plan to open another six stores in 2016. “Opportunistic growth is what we’re all about right now. We’re a hometown brand to start, and we want to make sure we have controlled growth and strong operations before we move to other cities,” she said.
