Terminal 3 Bar and Grill opened earlier this month at 12207 Natural Bridge Road in Bridgeton, offering a variety of appetizers, entrees and cocktails. For owner Lakeisha Sanders and her family, bringing a family-oriented dining experience, along with a nightlife atmosphere that provides a welcoming and diverse environment for patrons of all backgrounds, was of the utmost importance.

Terminal 3 Bar and Grill, known as “T3” for short, was founded by a family of Pattonville alumni that owns other restaurants across the St. Louis area, including Gobble Stop Smokehouse and H&M Best Fried Fish and Chicken. While bar-style food will be their main offering, different cuisines will be incorporated from other family spots, according to owner Lakeisha Sanders. “We’re going to have different types of food,” Sanders said. “We come from a family chain of restaurants, so we’ll incorporate all of that into one. We’re going to have some soul food, along with chicken and fish, because one of our family members has a chicken and fish restaurant. We also come from a family that serves nothing but smoked turkey, so we will have a lot of smoked food.” From nachos to burgers to lamb chops, it’s important to T3 to have options for everyone. “We are just going to have a widespread menu – people will choose what’s the best,” she said. Regarding beverages, T3 offers a variety of wines, beers, cocktails, sodas and juices.

One mile from Terminal 2 at Lambert Airport, T3 aims to bring life back into the strip mall that formerly housed Friends Bar and Grill. The 2,500-square-foot space can hold 80 guests inside with an outdoor patio capable of holding 40 more customers. The newly renovated restaurant delivers a refreshing atmosphere with a new and comfortable look. “Terminal 3 is more of a modern, upscale and relaxing dining experience,” Sanders said. “It’s been fully renovated, all the way to the studs. Everything is new.”

Terminal 3 Bar and Grill is planning to offer live music with local artists and bands multiple times a week, along with karaoke nights. Other weekly events include soul food on Sundays, Latino taco night on Tuesdays, seafood broil night on Thursdays, happy hour on Fridays and brunch on Saturdays.

For updates on these events and more information on all things Terminal 3 Bar and Grill, follow them on Facebook and check out their website. The restaurant is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.
