INGREDIENTS

1 cup water
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1½ cups evaporated milk
¼ tsp. salt
½ cup sugar
½ cup Budweiser
¼ cup heavy cream
Whipped cream

PREPARATION

• In a heavy saucepan, whisk together the water and the cornstarch and simmer the mixture over moderate heat, whisking, for 2 minutes.
• Add the milks, salt and sugar. Heat the mixture over moderately low heat, whisking, for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the sugar is dissolved. Remove the pan from heat. Let cool completely.
• Once cooled, stir in the Budweiser. Churn in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer instructions.
• When the ice cream is ready, add the heavy cream and 2 to 3 scoops of Budweiser ice cream to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a chilled glass and top with whipped cream.
