Schlafly Beer is hosting its annual Art Outside Festival from Friday, Sept. 5, through Sunday, Sept. 7 at Schlafly Bottleworks at 7260 Southwest Ave. in Maplewood. This free, rain-or-shine event celebrates local art and music, featuring more than 60 artists creating ceramics, woodworking, paintings, photography and more. Guests can shop for art, enjoy festival food, live music and Schlafly beer.
Festival highlights include henna tattooing, creative crafts from Artist First, and a large tent over the parking lot for shade and weather protection. Schlafly will also offer a special-edition AF Raspberry Hefeweizen, made in collaboration with Artist First, with 20% of sales supporting the organization’s mission to empower artists of all abilities.
“Art Outside is more than a festival: It’s a platform for artists to connect with the community,” said CEO David Schlafly. “We’re proud to celebrate local talent in a space that reflects the artistic, collaborative, and welcoming spirit of St. Louis.”
Festival hours are 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Art Outside Festival is free to attend, with food and beer available for purchase. Inside Schlafly Bottleworks, a limited menu and full bar will also be available.
