Swig is doubling down on its St. Louis-area footprint. The fast-growing Utah-based chain known for its highly customizable “dirty sodas” opened a second local shop on May 1, this time at 13721 Manchester Road in Ballwin.
The new outpost, dubbed Swig Manchester, lands in West County following what franchise owner Emily Peck describes as an enthusiastic response to the brand’s first regional location. “It’s been so fun to see people get excited about Swig,” Peck said, adding that she’s eager to bring that same momentum to a new pocket of St. Louis.
If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, Swig built its name on remixing familiar sodas into something more indulgent: think classic soft drinks spiked with flavored syrups, fresh fruit, purées and creams. That core idea anchors a broader menu that leans into customization. Alongside its signature dirty sodas, customers can opt for Refreshers, lighter, fruit-forward drinks made with water; or Revivers, a build-your-own energy drink designed for a quick boost. A small food menu rounds things out with snacks like cookies and pretzel bites.
For Swig CEO Alex Dunn, the Ballwin opening reflects both the brand’s rapid national growth and the appetite for personalized drinks. He says the goal is simple: give customers the freedom to experiment, whether they’re stopping in for an afternoon pick-me-up or something a little more celebratory.
To mark the opening, the Manchester Road location will host a grand opening event on May 22, when guests can score a free 24-ounce drink.
Swig Manchester will be located at 13721 Manchester Road and is expected to operate daily, joining the chain’s expanding lineup of locations nationwide. For menu details and updates, visit Swig’s website or follow @swigdrinks on social media.
