TBD Bar + Social in Fairview Heights has closed
TBD Bar + Social in Fairview Heights has closed, effective today, May 21. The bar, which was owned by Houlihan’s Restaurants, opened in August 2018 in the former Houlihan's space. Director of operations Jim Burchell confirmed the closure.
"As we took a hard look at the performance of TBD Bar + Social in Fairview Heights, we made the difficult business decision to close this location effective today, May 21," Burchell said in a statement.
The closure was also announced on TBD’s Facebook page:
The restaurant’s Tex-Mex-inspired menu featured dishes like nachos, chili, burgers and a pork tenderloin sandwich. TBD’s bar was known for its beer selection, signature cocktails and games like giant Jenga, cornhole and board games. The Fairview Heights restaurant was one of two TBD’s in the country; the other location in San Antonio remains open.
