Billie’s Fine Foods near Soulard in St. Louis has closed

Billie’s Fine Foods closed its doors earlier this month. The diner which was located at 1802 S. Broadway near Soulard announced the closure via Facebook.

The owner posted the following statement, “For the few years I've had Billie’s, I've been blessed to have met and made friends with some of the greatest people. It is with heavy heart that I write Billie’s is closed. Thank you for your support, and love over the years. Take care everyone. Kelly.”

Although the reason for the closure was not explicitly stated, there were previous social media posts stating the restaurant had to close on certain days due to staffing concerns. Billie’s Fine Foods was damaged during a fire in July 2018 and didn’t reopen their interior until March 2019.
