Brasswell is leaving Rockwell Beer Co. in the Grove
Rockwell Beer Co. has announced that Gerard Craft’s Niche Food Group will no longer operate Brasswell at Rockwell’s location in the Grove, which had been open inside the craft brewery since 2018. Instead, Rockwell will handle the kitchen operations at the brewery beginning Thursday, Jan. 4.
“We are grateful for the collaboration and partnership with Niche Food Group over the last five years. Gerard and Niche Food Group have contributed to the success of Rockwell since we opened. We look forward to building upon the existing menu and expanding food offerings in the future,” Rockwell’s director of operations Dan Heaghney said in a statement. “Once we established our food program at [Rockwell Beer Garden in] Francis Park, we were confident that we could bring the same level of elevation and execution to our home in the Grove. Our Grove location is a community destination, and we are excited to share the details for our expanded food offerings, which will pair well with our extensive beer and beverage programs.”
The move will allow Niche Food Group more time to focus on its existing concepts like the newly opened None of the Above at City Foundry STL, along with upcoming concepts such as Expat BBQ at City Foundry STL and the reopening of Porano Pasta in its new location in Des Peres.
“We have loved our time in the Grove neighborhood, and we learned so much from operating a concept with a small menu, dedicated to perfecting a few classic items like our burger and chicken sandwich in a casual environment,” Craft said in a statement. “We look forward to seeing what the Rockwell team does next.”
