The next Sauce Food Truck Friday will take place at Tower Grove Park from 4 to 8 p.m. this Friday, Aug. 18. Here are six of the trucks that will be at the park this week.
Jaaise Grubb
Jaaise Grubb will have burgers and fries, deep-fried Philly cheesesteaks and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken or shrimp. Expect their noteworthy gumbo, salmon balls and stuffed turkey legs as well.
Wok-O-Taco
Wok-o-Taco will have two chicken options, banh mi and Thai chile, and two choices for steak: bulgogi and jicama-mango, which can be purchased as plates of two or three tacos, or you can try all four with their taco flight. A sweet chili tofu taco, a chicken or steak quesadilla, and a deluxe esquites bowl will also be served, along with Mexican coke.
Poptimism
Located out of City Foundry, Poptimism will be offering three fruit-based pops to help you cool off: watermelon, cantaloupe-sea salt and peach-basil.
Destination Desserts
Operated by the nonprofit Center for Specialized Services, Destination Desserts will have a variety of flavors of cupcakes, bars and jumbo cookies, including red velvet, German chocolate, white chocolate-cranberry, and many variations on gooey butter. All proceeds will go toward the nonprofit.
Mr. Noodle
With a full list of noodle dishes that come in large servings, Mr. Noodle will have various types of chicken, including sweet chile, teriyaki, sweet ‘n’ sour, and more. Vegan and gluten-free dishes are available upon request. Expect their brown sugar boba tea as well.
Cha Cha Chow
Bringing their unique tacos to Tower Grove Park, Cha Cha Chow will be serving proteins such as fish, barbecue pork, chicken verde and curried sweet potato. Don’t skip out on their walking taco, which features a deep-fried chicken tender on a flour tortilla with chipotle mayo and jalapen?o-red cabbage slaw, as well as their fiesta corn salad.
In addition to the food trucks, there will be plenty of beverages for sale, including frozen drinks from Narwhal’s Crafted, seltzers from Mighty Kind, along with beer from Schlafly and 4 Hands Brewing Co. Additionally, The Scandaleros trio will be performing live music.
