It might not technically be fall yet, but fall festival season is officially underway. Eckert’s Farm is bringing back its annual Hard-Pressed Cider Fest from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Belleville location at 951 S. Green Mount Road.
The 21-and-up event will feature more than 40 varieties of hard cider, craft beer and specialty cocktails from regional cideries and breweries. Guests can sample drinks while browsing handcrafted goods from artisan vendors and enjoying live music under the Cider Shed Pavilion. Local food trucks and the Eckert’s Cider Shed will offer food and beverages throughout the day. Live music performances include The Uncle Albert Duo from 1 to 4 p.m. and Pick’n & Grin’n from 6 to 9 p.m.
New this year, the festival is offering a Brunch & Brews experience from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an additional $25. The brunch includes a 16-ounce hard cider, smoked brisket, scrambled eggs with hash browns, warm hard cider cheese fondue, biscuits and cider donuts. Tickets for the brunch can be added on when purchasing Hard-Pressed Cider Fest tickets, which are available online in varying levels.
