Chef Xavier Dorsey is stepping into the spotlight with a Korean street food pop-up launching at Atomic by Jamo at 4140 Manchester Ave. in the Grove, just down the block from Good Company. The collaborative series between the two venues will run for three weeks: June 12-14, June 18-21, and June 25-28, operating from 4-10 p.m. each night.
Dorsey, who runs the kitchen at Stella Blues and has been an integral part of Good Company’s culinary identity, will bring a bold, gluten-free take on Korean street fare to Atomic’s space. Dishes include thinly sliced soy-and-pear-marinated bulgogi skewers, crispy Korean fried chicken wings coated in Korean BBQ sauce, loaded fries with cheese sauce and bulgogi, and crispy rice paper mandoo filled with stretchy cheese and green onion.
Guests can pair the food with cocktails from Atomic’s bar program, helmed by Tony Saputo and Ryan Huelsing. The duo is known for inventive, high-quality drinks that match the venue’s lively energy.
“Xavier’s been such a key part of what we do at Good Company, and it’s awesome to see him step into something that’s fully his,” said Good Company owner Jordan Goodman. “Korean street food is an area he’s both knowledgeable and passionate about. We’re really excited to see what he creates.”
