Looking Meadow Cafe Credit: Michelle Volansky

Looking Meadow Cafe, which opened in late 2023 at 2500 Sutton Blvd. in Maplewood, has announced via Instagram that Aug. 17 will be its last day of service.

On June 14, the account posted a statement that included: “As many who are close to me know, I have unfortunately gotten to the point in my divorce where I signed an agreement to close Looking Meadow to resume my previous career. … I’m utterly bummed, but I am hopeful to find the right person to take over my beloved cafe.”

Today, the account posted: “Well the time has finally come for our last day. Saturday, August 17, will be our last day of service at our Maplewood cafe. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to make the Tower Grove Farmers’ Market this week for a last market. It’s been great to meet so many people and I appreciate all the support along the way. Hopefully, we can see you one last time tomorrow.”

If anyone is interested in purchasing the cafe, reach out to realtor Brendan Hickman at 314.680.7451 or brandanh@saintlouisgroup.com.
