Nathaniel Reid Bakery is expanding once again, marking the nationally acclaimed pastry shop’s third growth since opening in 2016. The bakery located at 11243 Manchester Road in Kirkwood is taking over an additional neighboring space to increase production capacity and prepare for future growth.

“This expansion is really about keeping pace with the incredible support we’ve received,” said chef-owner Nathaniel Reid. “Our customers have kept us busier than ever, and this new space will help us continue delivering the quality and consistency they expect.”

The added space will give the team more room to expand operations while also providing flexibility to pursue new creative opportunities. “What excites me most is the chance to dream a little bigger,” Reid said. “We want to keep pushing ourselves creatively, and this expansion gives us the flexibility to think about what the next chapter might look like.”

Since opening, Nathaniel Reid Bakery has become one of the most celebrated pastry shops in the country. Known for its French-inspired pastries, confections, and desserts, the bakery has earned national acclaim, including recognition as a 2025 James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Outstanding Bakery and praise from The Takeout, Yelp and Food Network.
