We would like to wish a Saucy good luck to local chef James “Kevin” Storm who will be competing in an annual national cooking competition this week for the Chef of the Year award, put on by the American Culinary Federation.
Storm, who has been whipping up dishes as the executive chef at Bellerive Country Club since 1996, was named ACF’s Central Region Chef of the Year, after beating out four local chefs in a cooking competition in Indianapolis, qualifying him for this week’s battle.
In true Iron Chef style, Storm, along with chefs from California, Georgia and New York, will have two hours and 15 minutes to prepare, cook and serve a three-course signature meal in front of a live audience and a panel of judges. Up for grabs: $5,000 and the title of Chef of the Year.
Cheers!
