041310_EugenesThe weather’s turning warmer and we’re already thinking about where to get our fix for a frozen treat. Eugene’s Custard, coming soon to Town and Country, is going to be one of our next stops. Located at 1138 Town and Country Crossing Drive in the development located at the intersection of Woods Mill and Clayton roads, owner Tim O’Neal stated that the custard shop should be open no later than May 15.

Eugene’s will feature premium chocolate, vanilla and light frozen custard as well as a flavor of the day – mint Oreo, caramel crunch, chocolate and peanut butter, to name a few cool temptations. Of course you’ll find novelties like Drumsticks, ice cream sandwiches, frozen cakes and pies, plus smoothies and Kaldi’s coffee. What’s really got us tooting their horn is that Eugene’s will have an extensive catering and delivery service operated via a honker of a vehicle – namely, an outfitted fire truck. (We’re guessing you’ll soon see it at every school carnival.)

O’Neal has high hopes for Eugene’s Custard. He plans to finalize a site for a second location “somewhere in the greater West County area” by the end of this year and open it in the spring of 2011.
