Selam Ethiopian Restaurant appears to have shuttered for good. The space at 549 Rosedale Ave., just south of Delmar Boulevard in The Loop, has been emptied of tables and chairs and the telephone is no longer in operation. Selam opened in 2007 and was named the favorite for African cuisine in the 2009 Sauce Readers’ Choice poll.
